Main Information

Welcome to 26th Alabama Infantry Regiment. You will be trained with one of the best to help fight for the south, and destroy the northern aggressors. This is no longer a political debt comrade, but now its war with the North. LONG LIVE THE SOUTH.

The 26th Alabama Infantry is a historically accurate regiment that is very simple and fun to be around. Each and every volunteer to cadet will have to read the rules, requirements, and will have to go thorough Volunteer and Cadet school before being able to fight with us, and learn if you fail to complete the school you can try again as many times as you like and we will help you step by step. When you are given the rank Private you have earned to right to fight with us. You must complete it before you are assigned to your company and squad. In the 26th Alabama we are respectful to everyone. This includes your Band of Brothers in the 26th Alabama, members of other regiments, public players, admins, officers, non-commissioned officers, and people on the forums. We also like to conduct ourselves in a professional and mature manner. This means that cursing, glitching, trolling, flaming, and name calling or other forms of fighting are limited, or never to happen. This is especially important when we are in events or on a public server to maintain order and professionalism.

If you are looking for a serious, disciplined and competitive regiment then enlist with the 26th Alabama !!!

The History of the 26th Alabama

After forming at Tuscumbia, the regiment was ordered to Virginia on March 24 and reported to General John B. Magruder at Yorktown. It was assigned to the brigade of Brigadier General Gabriel J. Rains. They were engaged at the Battle of Seven Pines where their regimental commander, Col. Edward A. O'Neal was wounded. The brigade saw further action at Mechanicsville and Gaines Mill as part of General D.H. Hill's Division.

Missing the action at the Second Battle of Bull Run since D.H.Hill's Division was sent to Richmond to guard the capital, the regiment was engaged at the battles of South Mountain, Sharpsburg, Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville as part of Rodes Brigade. After the reorganization of the Army of Northern Virginia in the spring of 1863, Col. O'Neal took charge of the brigade, as General Rodes went on to command the Division as part of the Second Corps. The regiment took part in the Battle of Gettysburg and the Bristoe and Mine Run Campaigns, before being on special duty.

On February 15, 1864, the regiment was ordered by Inspector General John H. Winder to convey prisoners to Andersonville, Georgia.[2] The regiment served as guards at Andersonville before being ordered back to Virginia. Before the order arrives however, the regiment is already on the way to Montgomery, Alabama having left on May 22 by order of Adjutant General Samuel Cooper, dated May 14. [3] I June, the regiment is part of the brigade of General James Cantey sent north to be assigned to the Army of Tennessee . Canteys Brigade served in Walthall's Division, Polks Corps and was engaged in the Atlanta Campaign, the battles of Franklin and Nashville, until the final surrender at Durham Station near Greensboro, North Carolina on April 26, 1865.

2.Be Mature - Be mature while in events!! Know and understand when to stop talking. When out of events don't throw a fit just because things don't go your way. Also work for what you want don't ask for promotions and to lead will give you the oppsite and you'll love it. Have fun but act appropriately.

3. Follow PTS - It should never come to the point were we must use it. Also if we use it under no idea are you to brake it, even if were attack you must say "PTS sir theres a line to our right."Follow the order of PTS when it is put into effect by an officer! When you request a PTS wait for an officer's approval before you say your question or statement.

4. Don't Cause Problems - Don't cause problems with anyone in the regiment. If you have a problem with a fellow enlisted member talk to an NCO. If you have a problem with an NCO talk to an officer. NCO's and Officers are here to help you and improve your overall quality of the gaming experience.

5. DO NOT TROLL - We all understand having fun and relaxing, but do not troll under any excuse during events. This includes TK'ing TW'ing and even talking crap to an admin. When outside of events have fun but in plain and simple terms- Don't be a dick, have fun but not piss people off while doing it. Trolling ruins the experience and fun of any event for members and the community. So please just don't do it.

6. NO DOUBLE REGIMENTING PERIOD! With in War of Rights, It can be in other things, we are the primary clan if you have more.We do not allow it and neither do any other regiment out there. It creates a conflict of interest and will not be tolorated. You may join an EU reg if you wish, but no other NA regiment.

7. We recruit 15 years and older, however we do make exceptions to members who can abide by the rules and do not squeak.

8. Demerits are a way to make sure you are doing the right thing all the time. If you get a Demerit, that means you are doing something you should not be doing. SO please, use common sense and make sure to do what the officer says at all times! Also if you get a punishment or demoted do as your told or get a new demoted. Three equal a demotion.

9. You must have all officers/NCO's unmuted during events. If you mute an officer, we will continue to think that you can hear us and if you do not follow a command then you will be punished just like anyone else.

10. Inactive-If you become inactive you will be given a tag you won't get promoted for at least more then a month. It will be removed within a month.
