The 1st North Carolina Artillery, 10th State Troops, 13th Battalion, Battery I, "Durham Devils" are a fictional horse artillery unit, deploying alongside the fictional North Carolina Cavalry, 66th State Troops, 8th Battalion, Company I, "Darkhorse Dragoons".

Brief Background Information:
Formed by members of the Snowfire Gaming community, the Durham Devils and the Darkhorse Dragoons aim to provide a unique experience by attaching highly mobile Horse/Light Artillery to a Dragoon unit, thereby creating a small, flexible unit which may swiftly be deployed where needed on the field to fight either from horseback or dismounted, with the benefit of close, coordinated artillery support.

The Devils and Dragoons hope to offer an exciting, organized, and realistic experience in-game. While addressing members by their rank is not a requirement, members of the unit are expected to remain serious and focused while in game. We also offer the opportunity to rise through the ranks, providing the possibility of taking on leadership roles within the unit.
Out of Game:
Out of game, we offer a community where you can make friends and share common interests. We play any number of other games, as well, so there's no shortage of buddies to play with. While on our Teamspeak servers, you can expect friendliness, acceptance, enthusiasm, humor, and above all, camaraderie.
