    Less Motion Blur

Could we get less motion blur or a slider to adjust the level of Motion Blur

  2. #2
Yeah, a more advanced options menu will come fairly soon. In the meantime, if you look in the War of Rights folder, whereever it is installed (Usually here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\War of Rights)

There should be a user.cfg file

Open it with notepad and type in the bottom "r_motionblur=0" without quotes.

Will that config file be reset after the game updates?

if i had to guess, it probably will, this may be due to it copying files and automatically replacing them, but there is no sure fire way to tell

Okay here's what you can do:

Make a copy of the user.cfg file in the War of Rights folder

Rename it to autoexec.cfg, make sure it doesnt end up being called autoexec.cfg.cfg ( can happen if your file extensions are hidden )

    Open the file with notepad

Delete its contents and add the following line:

    r_motionblur=0

This file wont get overwritten when we push a new build.

ok, i post here because i' m not sure it is essential to open a new post. ( tell me if i'm wrong )

While the Depth of field works a way better in the new build, i found a strange bug with the Motion Blur option.

If i turn off the motion blur, i have blur everywhere :

    OFF :

    ON :

I don't really like this new field of depth that is bluring my weapon when I'm aiming down.

I dont think it's really necessary to blur that out. Motion blur is an issu but just having a slider would of been much better.

    Just my feedback

    Warm regards,

    Thanks for the feedback.

We're quite happy with the new weapon blur. It's very much how the P53 Enfield rifle in our office looks whenever we aim it and focus on the front sight.

If ones eye is focusing on the area you've highlighted then the area down the range of you will be out of focus. It's a near physical impossibility to focus on what you're aiming at, your sights and the area close to your face all at the same time.
