Have a care, Gentlemen.
The long nights are beginning to draw away towards the cusp of Spring and, with that, an opening of passes and roads that had previously been closed. The most perfidious of seasons will soon be upon us, and quicker than one may imagine. I am led to believe that many of you have endured the passing of this winter with the most base of garments, threadbare and of poor value. Rest assured that I have written several times to the excellent and honourable Colonel Hunton in the endeavour of acquiring clothing for the approaching year.
Your commendable valour and ever-lasting committment to the cause will never be forgotten, at home or abroad.
One, and all.
Captain Jim J. Digby.

Afternoon.
I am pleased to welcome a Mr Dwayne McDoughall to the company. He will be a familiar voice to some of the older folks in our group.

Private Dwayne McDoughall 8th Virginia Regiment, Company 'H'
This is a call to arms:
On tomorrow's evening, Saturday the 13th of April, 19:00 hours (7PM GMT), we will, in preparation for a maneuver later on that very same eve, gather to exercise musketry and formations at the drill camp. For some of you, this will be your first combat engagement.
With God on our side!
Yours,
Sergeant Waltman
Y’all have a room for a young fellow from Carolina?

Sir,
I'm brand new to this game (Just downloaded it about 20 minutes ago). Looking to join a company. Hoping you gentlemen have room for me?

Many thanks for your interest in joining Company 'H' of the 8th Virginia. We do have room for you in principal, however as of recent weeks I am afraid to say that we are currently inactive in War of Rights. I would warmly suggest looking in to one of the many groups under the 'II Corp' umbrella, I am sure there you will find companionship and fellows to fight alongside with.
Warmest regards and all the best,
Leifr (Jim J. Digby)
