    I don't really know that what I said was negative. Anyway, I said that because there is a different 5thAL company enlisted in the Light Division, and I think General Hill may have confused you with them.

    I think the General was speaking on behalf of the Light Division, not necessarily to a unit in the Light Division

    You my friend are thinking of the 5th Alabama Battalion, of Archers Brigade which does happen to be apart of A.P. Hills Division. Who was originally the 8th Infantry Battalion, but got redesignated in 1862 to the 5th Alabama Battalion.

    We are historically from the 5th Alabama Infantry Regiment, which was apart of Rodes Brigade in D.H. Hills division.

    I know that, that's what I'm saying. Hill might have mistaken you for them.
