Calling Holdfast: NAW a NW clone is like calling War of Rights N&S with better graphics but less elements. That's just not true.
From what I experienced Holdfast is almost nothing like NW except for WASD and the POV's.
I cannot wait for it as it will provide a meta for people who want casual gameplay rather than hardcore realism.

That's my feeling about it as well. It'll act nicely as an alternative for people wanting something a tad more arcady for a while - and I imagine WoR will too for people wanting to try out what we're trying to create here.

The more musket games the better is what I say.

Looking forward to this game hope it's going to be able to support large sized battles. The community needs a line battle game that can support 200 v 200.

I hope for that as well, NW only holding 200 users per server kind of limits the possibilities. 400 on a server would be astounding and something very new in this small gaming community. If they manage to pull that many while having land battles, naval engagements, and sieges, it would just be spectacular and something we all can look forward to!
