Agreed ... Historical animosity between Units does not have to translate into the same between players, imo.
Question ...
Don't these people realize that NOW is the best time to skirmish?
No Consequences ... Good Experience ... Forms Connections between Team Members AND Units
Where is the downside to a little practice? Fear of shame? What is to be gained from bragging about winning against partial Units in a game that isn't even complete?
The Alpha is about Testing, Learning and Having Fun ... not sure why anyone would pass on our Offer.
Safety is not Security ... Drilling is not Soldiering.
I sure hope the Union gets more people like the Brave 95th New York, who we /salute and invite for a rematch ... any time.

So, apparently the 95th have the most courage amongst the Union forces. Well salute to Captain Ross and his New York boys. We will take any comers to battle, and are open to terms for fairness on both sides. What's the point of having a company, regiment, brigade, or division if there is no organized line battles or at least skirmishes? Kinda pointless, speaking for my 6th Louisiana Tigers Company A, we will take on anyone who is willing to get it in. My boys fight, and wont shy away from any competitors.
Agreed the 95th fought very well, and we applaud you fine union gentlemen.
