    Information

The 41st Pennsylvania aims to be a model to other regiments. We pride ourselves on discipline on the field and work to achieve historical accuracy within reason. We aim for an experience that is fun for all of our members and to be as effective as we can while in combat. We are made up partly of members from a group within the Mount & Blade community as wells as others who simply wish to play war of rights. We have five years of group play experience behind us and aim to have an officer, and non-commissioned officer corps of strictly competent individuals who have proven their worth. We are always on the look out for those who hold these values and would be so inclined to join our ranks.

    History

The regiment, originally mustered as the 12th Pennsylvania Reserve Regiment was formed in Pittsburgh with men from Allegheny county, Lawrence county, and Washington County. It was mobilized for active service in the spring of 1861 for then intended purpose of putting down the rebellion in the south. Composed of 10 companies total it would see service in most major conflicts within the war. Company K in particular would be formed in Allegheny county and would be led by Cpt. William C. Denny. The regiment would see service from August 1861 to June 1864. The regiment would lose a total of 181 men during the war, only 2 of which where officers.
