Officer spam!

Ok thought I'd jump on for a few games... sadly I've seen officer spam in Youtube videos but never had the dishonour of seeing it for myself, until tonight. What is the point of turning up and trying to play if everyone is running around with revolvers?

Devs please make this a priority and stop this imbalance of Officers or your server player numbers will drop for sure. Lets get back to the spirit of the game boys!

People spam Officers because you have six shots right then and there so if someone shoots at you and misses you basically can kill them. Also the sword is quick which allows for the officer to deal damage quickly. I think the Devs have said something about a balance to the issue in one of the threads. If you'd go look for it you can get their input and what they said about it.

The developers said they are working on balancing out the officers and other ranks.

Any means of kicking your officers from their position then? There are plenty of people who will jump onto the officer rank but then completly fail to ever give a single command.

Agreed, would love a voting system prior to starting the game.... perhaps incorporated into the 3 minute 'suggested' deployment stage.

No. You have a few options though:

1) Suck it up and follow his command however inexperienced he is - take it as an example of officer incompentece during the civil war and help him become a better leader.
2) Ignore him altogether and follow an NCO instead.
3) Play on private servers (when available) in order to secure the officer of your company gets to play as the actual officer.
