Okay here are some pictures. More to come as well as videos. I have a TON that I'm going through.

I'll start with some pictures I took at Sharpsburg on my way back home.

I'm not sure why the picture with the witness tree is sideways...

I was at Lee's HQ to meet a reenactor friend and also near the Pitzer Woods on Monday the 3rd. Felt like going up for Pickett's Charge on the actual day it occurred. Shelby Foote (the author) suggested visiting battlefields when the actual battle's occurred to make the most of the experience.

Heading back to Gettysburg on Saturday morning with a friend for a day trip. Been there plenty of times, but will never turn down an invitation to go again. Never been to the reenactment as a reenactor, have heard mixed things about it but I'm sure I'll get out there eventually, probably next summer.

Not currently in Gettysburg but I have been a few times. One of the coolest memories of that place was camping during a misty/rainy weekend with the boy scout troop. This was back in like 1997 or 1998. We could hear horses off in the distance with the lightening. A few of us woke up around 1 or 2 am and walked off into the dark. I gotta tell you...it was very spooky.
