As a member of this community for a while now, I've seen a lot. First, let me take a step back for a minute and start from the beginning. When donating to get early access to this game I fully understood that it was early access, unfinished and ultimately it would be a while before this game was what it was intended to be. I expected bugs, glitches, crashes and all the stuff that comes with an early access game. What I DID NOT EXPECT was a community TOTALLY dead and devoid of admins or moderators who took interest in the community and it's collective gaming enjoyment.
As somebody who is a little older and somebody who works hard for the money I have, I expect better from the development and moderation of this game. I don't expect moderators to allow trolls and assholes to get on, insult people and cause general unpleasantness throughout the community. Servers are filled with people who kill team members, play stupid music over voice chat or scream like morons every time they get a rare kill. Several people I know and game with on a regular basis have brought serious issues to sever moderation/development and have been basically told to suck it up. WRONG ANSWER.
As a grown man, I don't expect to deal with pre-pubescent children whos soul purpose in life is to get onto the game and cause stupidity. I don't expect somebody to verbally target my family members or the family members of other gamers while on these servers. I also don't like hearing, "If you don't like team killing, don't play on official servers" from gaming staff members. Once again, wrong answer. I can name a few games that adopted that same business model and guess what, they ain't around no more. At least not with the same activity as they had on launch. I suppose you guys have made all the money you guys want and you're okay with screwing people who've purchased your game. If I'm wrong, do something about this ignorance.
