Yes, there is WW2 online, but come on.. its way to old
Did you ever play, and if so, what was your thought of The Saboteur? It obviously wasn't a multiplayer game. I played it for a day or two, but like all console games, I lost interest. My kids are more likely to stick to console games versus myself. But I would be curious if The Saboteur would meet the follow-up poster to your comment of "a developer thinking outside the box"?

Setting and the tech behind the Games.

Like, on paper, that WW2 Online Game sounds like the ultimate WW2 Game but I just could never get into it because of how, even at the time, dated the Visuals were and the Game felt.

Have you tried Resistance and Liberation? 3D voice chat... no score, no death messages. No HUD. Individual morale. Realistic weapon damage. It's free. You just need steam to download the SDK base 2007 and get the latest beta (1.6?). I had a server up until last year and hosted events on weekends. Admittedly it is hard to find a full server more and more. Some people still try to keep things going and occasionally put announcements up when servers are populated.
