    Getting repeated "app running" errors

I've gotten nothing but "app running" errors every time I've tried to launch the game today.

I've restarted my computer three times and verified my game cache so I don't know what's wrong with it.

The error is occuring when you are updating the game? You are not even getting to the point where you can launch it?

But one thing you could try is to make sure that War of Rights is whitelisted in your antivirus program. If that still doesnt fix it and you are indeed able to attempt to launch the game, try using the error reporter: https://warofrights.com/ErrorReporter Might give us some extra clues as to what is going on.

I sent in my error report a few days ago.

Any idea what might be wrong with the game? I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice and that still hasn't fixed it.

I've tried deleting all my local content and it still isn't working.

Whenever I start up the game, the "preparing to launch War of Rights" window pops up and then promptly disappears without starting the game.

If it helps, I've looked through my game files and it doesn't appear I have an executable (.exe) like other steam games.

    I don't know why though.

I was having the exact same issue, reinstalled game after uninstalling, deleted all game folders, turned off antivirus, etc. This is what fixed it for me (if you're running Windows 7).

Is the game unable to start?

Make sure all Windows updates are installed. Especially if you are running Windows 7. It was recently discovered that if you dont have the Windows 7 SP 1 Conveniance Update, the game wouldn't launch. It can be downloaded here: https://support.microsoft.com/da-dk/...server-2008-r2

Yep, cannot stress the necessity to update, update, update.

As you have read possibly in these forums, the Devs continue to roll to the latest releases of the engine software ... eventually with the new roll overs, the average user who doesn't keep his machine up to date, is going to have issues running the game.

The app thing from what I've read and understand is your antivirus interrupting. Please find your settings and do an exclusion in the antivirus software to allow WoR programs.
