    Unless I missed it ... is this system a laptop or a desktop?

    And I agree with the comment of someone earlier about the processor being an i3. The engine software is the absolute latest and takes advantage of functions your i3 may not have.

    Very early on I had a 2007 era desktop with a Core Duo chip in it and only 4 gigs of ram and could run the game fine. Then they did an upgrade one day and I couldn't run the game any longer. I had to go buy a new i7.

    Laptops are generally not good gaming systems, imho. You are not allowed to make customizations to a lappy, like upgrading your video card and the like. Desktops are completely flexible. (Disclaimer, yes, I know I'm going to hear from several people who have laptops, but a dollar to a donut sez they're custom made gaming laptops and not your standard run of the mill types.)

    I have a desktop. Maybe you are right, it just seems strange that I can run other games that have come out in the last week without a hitch.

    Other games aren't using the latest Cryengine software, they're using something different and less demanding.

    Just to make sure you looked the right place in the device manager, this is what it looks like for me on my laptop.

    On another note, we'll be pushing a new update soon which may fix your problem.

    Thanks for the reply! Ya I checked through my Device Manager and I only have my Nvidia graphics driver listed. Thanks for the update about the patch, Im hoping it'll work! I cant wait to play the game!

    In your case Eduard I noticed that you are running Windows 7. Did you also make sure that Windows is fully updated? This was the problem for another guy.

    Yes, I downloaded the update that was recommended on the fixes as well.

    After starting War of Rights, Steam installed Microsoft VC Redist and WoR does not start for me as well...again
