Battlefield V

Well the new Battlefield trailer came out today. I'm not gonna post it here because it wasn't particularly good. (Probably because the guy who used to make trailers for DICE left the company in Dec 2016.)

But we do have a bunch of good news as far as gameplay is concerned that wasn't included in the trailer. Such as:

• You can construct fortifications around control points.
• A cooler sounding version of operations called grand operations.
• Gun emplacements can now be towed on the back of vehicles (and some can be fired while being towed.)
• ALL POST RELEASE CONTENT WILL BE FREE AND PREMIUM IS GONE.
• You can go prone on your back with 360 degree movement + general improved animations.
• A new 4 player CO-OP mode with proceduraly generated missions.
• All classes can now revive players if they're in their squad (with a very long animation though.) + Improved Squadplay.
• Reviving is a proper animation now (no more insta-revive needle jabbing)
• No health auto-regen.
• You can drag downed players to cover to heal them.
• AND NO MORE LOOTBOXES! (there will be paid cosmetics though.)

I think it could be the best Battlefield in awhile. I just hope everyone else can get over the bad trailer.

The whole "no premium pass or paid expansions is a GOOD THING!" idea needs to be laid to rest. This is EA. The moment the money stops coming in for this game, they'll abandon it like they did Battlefront. The only thing that means anything to EA is profit; without paid DLC or Expansions, you can expect CawaDooty level cosmetic whoring.

Its not like every game has to be historically accurate.
But this is not my cup of tea...

I really can't stand this fast-paced gameplay with 2018 SJW featured characters anymore. Maybe ArmA, Squad and such games ruined me, but this Michael Bay like games arent worth it anymore....i used to remember playing Battlefield and lauging about Call of Duty, now there is no difference at all anymore

Only in name, I have no idea what I've just watched other than some ADD-infected shit show. Direct as many folk to HLL and PS as possible, it's the only salvageable action that can be made out of this release.

BFV is not a game I think I want to play. It'll be too expensive, and I've never really been a fan of the series.

But why all the hate about non-historically-accurate characters? They never claimed it would be historically accurate or realistic, like Post Scriptum, Hell Let Loose, or Arma are. If you don't like the game decisions the developers have made, don't buy it.

P.S. Dragging downed players is a big plus, though. Squad, I think they might be on to something here!
