    Very nice! I thought the canteen in the middle was a soccer ball at first, but I was able to puzzle it out.

    The one critique I have is that it looks a little too in focus for a civil war picture, but everything else looks great!

    Many thanks, and you're very much right about the canteen resembling a football. However, I would advise that you visit the Library of Congress website and trawl through their digitised collection of ACW plates. You'll find that a great very many of them are perfectly sharp and certainly in focus. A photographer of the period would not last long in business were he inadequate of technique.
