Due to the recent attacks by Austria, the Kingdom of Romania has entered partial mobilization along with the flood of volunteers who want to exact revenge upon the invaders

War with Bulgaria

The Kingdom of Romania will admit that they were in the wrong when attacking Bulgaria without any declaration of war. We do feel the preemptive strike was justified though, with the alliance between Bulgaria and Austria stating that if one of them were to be in a war with the Kingdom of Romania, how were we supposed to know if Bulgaria was gonna launch a surprise attack like Austria did. With that being said, we, The kingdom of Romania, officially declare war with Bulgaria

It is always a sad turn of events when the will to act cordially dissolves into brutality. Our gracious government offered chances and made requests to cease this senseless violence currently being committed upon this ancient and glorious continent, alas to no avail our words have gone unheeded. Once again those of crude barbaric Germanic blood have sought to wreak havoc and untold violence upon those undeserving. France, heart of democracy upon the continent of Europe, will not stand for these pathetic excuses of Empires to harass and persecute any longer, we will at last bring the the brutish reign of the German to its rightful end.

The German Empire declares war on the remaining Balkan League and calls her allies to arms

As the Entente has decided to escalate this conflict by issuing excessive, intolerable ultimatums and forcing the German Empire into the war, His Majesty The Emperor and his government have recognised the futility of undertaking further diplomatic efforts to defuse the situation. Now, that the Romanian government has failed to address their violation of international law, committed in their joint attack on the Bulgarian Navy with Russia, adequately, the respective ambassadors have informed the governments of the Kingdom of Montenegro, the Hellenic Republic, the Kingdom of Romania and the Kingdom of Serbia that a state of war now exists between these nations and the German Empire.

Also, the German authorities make known that they will detain ships of merchants belonging to nations currently at war with the German Empire, but that they will be released if, within 48 hours, complete reciprocity is assured.

Since concessions and agreements privately reached between the German government and involved parties are effectively void given Russian and French aggression, the German Empire will use all tools at its disposal to ensure victory in this defensive war. Therefore, His Majesty The Emperor officially calls to arms his allies, these being the Kingdom of Denmark, the Kingdom of Norway, the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Ottoman Empire and the Kingdom of Italy against all foes currently waging war on Germany.

Reviving the Moroccan Question

The Spanish government had announced that, as part of the Franco-Spanish treaty, the French protectorate of Morocco will be incorporated into the Kingdom of Spain as a colony after a transitionary period has passed. After intense negotiations during the Agadir crisis, where the German government went to considerable lengths to secure a mutually beneficial compromise to the tense situation, Paris and Madrid have now decided to rip up the Treaty of Fes that established the French protectorate over Morocco and, in the process, break several pledges the French government made to the Sultan at the time, such as protecting Moroccan interests on the international stage. Instead, the Moroccans are now being sold off to another country as a 'colony', eroding the last shred of independence Morocco retained. This is a gross betrayal of the Moroccan people and the good faith Germany put into the negotiations eight years ago.

His Majesty The Emperor made clear he was a friend and protector of Morocco on numerous occasions, even when foreign powers tried to intimidate Germany to back down and give in. But His Majesty will never betray his principles and ideals. In response to this diplomatic breach of trust, the German government considers the Treaty of Fes no longer valid and views Morocco as an independent state under foreign occupation. Full liberation and self-determination of the Moroccan people will be assured after this war is won.

Spain declares war!

Due to the agression from Austria-Hungary against a member of the Entente alliance and the support of the Germany in this action, the Kingdom of Spain has the obligation to declared war against both countries in support of Russia

Although Spain already started mobilization secretly at the beginning of this month, is time to fully mobilize the army to help our French and Russian allies to bring a quick end to this unjust war.

Denmark Answers the Call

As stipulated in the Stockholm Agreement, the Kingdom of Denmark formally Declares War on all enemies of the German Empire. All nations currently in a state of war with the German Empire and its allies are now sworn enemies to the Kingdom of Denmark.

Full Mobilization

With the Danish kingdom now in open war, it has no choice but to issue Full Mobilization to help bring a swift end to the conflict. With the Danish government and Christian X’s blessing, the Danish Royal Army will be enlarged in size to defend the fatherland and its conditional allies in the Great European War.

The Kingdom of Serbia issues a full mobilization order. All those that it applies to are to meet at their pre-arranged muster points and await further orders. Likewise, the populace of Serbia is also expected to take up arms where they deem necessary. Luckily, due to recent wars and compulsory service, even an armed populace is nothing to scoff at. Those of said populous who wish to fight to maintain their freedom from foreign aggressors are to rendezvous with their brothers, cousins, and neighbors already in the mountains.

The Netherlands declares war!

Our great nation will answer the German call to arms against their enemies.
The Balkan League has murdered an Austrian Field Marshall, planned to murder the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, illegally attacked the nation of Bulgaria, and occupied and seized sovereign Albanian territory, all within a month of its formation. It is clear to everyone but simpletons and children that the sole purpose of their alliance is to undermine and destroy the Austro-Hungarian empire. The Balkan League, and any nation who supports them, are black-hearted villains with no regard for justice or international law. They deserve the cold steel, and the Netherlands will be more than happy to give it to them!

Chemical fertilizers
Since the announcement of the Tsardom's intention to distribute chemical fertilizers to the nation's farmers in an attempt to strengthen our agricultural sector, we have seen a great increase in the morale of our people. Some of our farmers have already been equipped with chemical fertilizers and the government is confident in its ability to achieve its goal of "issuing chemical fertilizers to the majority of Bulgarian farmers by the middle of July".

On the 23rd of February the Bulgarian parliamentary elections were held. The result was a victory for the political alliance known as the Liberal Concentration. However, one of the most interesting things about the election was not the outcome, but the number of voters. The election of February had the highest voter turnout ever recorded, which is something that thrills the Bulgarian government.
