Will sergeants on the end of the lines get Flank Markers or guidons? If you don't know what a flank marker is, they are little flags that sergeants on the ends will put on their bayonets to mark the flank.

(I like this idea if you hadn't noticed)
Nothing we have planned right now.
But could be an interesting choice one day (in the far future), at least it could be tested
I would very much like to see this, but it is not necessary. However, it would add to the "small details add up" idea that this game is going for.
*blows dust away*
since many companies have joined together to form larger organizations and also deal with the battalion drill I would like to bring up this topic again.
i would be very happy about the possibility of a sergeant to put on a flank marker instead of the bayonet. This would make the battalion drill more realistic and help to gather the units faster in combat.
The sergeant collecting the unit could simply place the flank marker while giving the order to collect, this would also visually indicate where to collect instead of having to say in voice chat:
"I'm here, no on the other tree."
"This is the wrong sergeant, I'm over here"
etc etc
It would be a nice thing
Good idea, would really increase the usefulness of the NCO position.
I would thoroughly enjoy researching and recreating the markers. I'd love to do tear down the hideous flag poles at the current drill camps to incorporate signal flags, hospital flags for tents, etc., but this is all above my paygrade. Cool idea.
Totally supporting that idea, and as said above, makes the NCO function more reponsible & fun to play.
Passion prevails!
