Forever? I assume Skirmishes Phase one will transition into phase 2 instead of being something that last then ends. As for an exact amount of time I guess it could last anywhere from 6 months- 1 year. bugs and fixes will need to be done to make sure everything is near perfect, or so much to allow for a mass influx of players for phase 2.

It took the devs approximately a year to get from the Drill Camp to Skirmishes Phase 1. I'm not sure if the workload to go from Skirms1 to Skirms2 will be the same as Drill Camp to Skirms1, but it wouldn't hurt to use that as a reference point.

If you look at this page it lays out the goals for each phase. Depending on how long it takes to make more weapons, maps, regiments and a new order system, I could see the next phase coming out more quickly. Early Access will definitely take a long-ass time tho.
