PRIME MINISTER KYOSEIVANOV TO ATTEND EUROPEAN SUMMIT
Following a statement made earlier this morning by His Majesty and His Government it has been made public that Prime and Foreign Minister Georgi Kyoseivanov will attend and represent the Bulgarian people at the Palais du Luxembourg during the European Summit next month. It is the hope of His Majesty Tsar Boris III that this summit will work to ensure continued peace and stability thorough all of Europe, and furthermore set it's sight on limiting or de-escalating the terrible conflict currently ongoing in Spain, so the Spanish people may once again know peace under a legitimate government.
BULGARIAN TSAR CALLS TO AMEND TREATY OF NEUILLY-SUR-SEINE
In a publicised speech to his cabinet His Majesty Tsar Boris III outlined bulgarian concerns regarding the Treaty of Neuilly-Sur-Seine, and his hope for the treaty to be re-considered at the upcoming European summit. Amongst what he said was the following:
"For soon twenty years the Bulgarian people have abided by the treaty dictated to us following The Great War, forcing us to pay overwhelming war reparations, reducing the size of our armed forces to a pitiful and unbecoming state, while also limiting our capability to produce armaments to properly and adequately equip the men tasked with the defence of our nation. For twenty years following the war our nation has been made greatly limited in it's potential for economic and social recovery through this, made no easier by the economic crises the entire world has faced during these years. Even as the treaties limiting our allies during The Great War have been forgotten or clearly violated with no clear opposition, the Treaty of Neuilly-sur-Seine still remains in effect, this cannot continue to stand as it not only spits in the face of bulgarian sovereignity but also endangers balkan stability and peace, therefor it is my hope and the hope of all Bulgaria that the treaty may be taken up for re-consideration during the summit in Paris, so Bulgaria like the rest of Europe can finally move out from the shadow of the past and into a new modern age of peace and prosperity."
