At 14:15 hours today, (Friday 22nd, January) it started falling perceptibly from the sky in Maryland. I am in the area that is slated for the bulk of the storm, 24 plus inches, ( 609.6 + mm)

I took the day off work in anticipation .... my weekend is going to be shot. (Not really I got plenty to do in the dev department as long as I can keep my power going.)

Western NY, (i.e. Buffalo, where my folks live, and I'm originally from,) will not be impacted by this particular storm. :) BUT that's not to say that you don't already have snow ... as I know for a fact Mom and Dad have a good 6 or so inches on the ground now from earlier storms.

Even here in Berlin we have frosty snowfall, around 5-6cm atm. Winter is hell guys!!

Honestly I hope nothing really bad will happen over in USFA!

This is the max we ever get on the railing due to it's width - this is all it supports.
