So War of Rights isn't the first ACW FPS huh? Oh dear, I do hope the devs can live up to that other Titan of gaming history.

I haven't seen any wierd white things protruding from the ground in any of the WoR videos, so the Devs are already a point behind...

The History Channel one is worse in my opinionI actually had some decent fun with those on the xbox 360, wasn't god awful, but wasn't anything special either.

PS. the History channel also released one, to be honest it looks like the same concept, it is pretty good, I played it on my Desktop..
Well looking at it now, it is like the same, but more explosive and not as graphic, but if u want to check it out here is the 1st mission:

Anyone ever play Darkest of Days? The game had you fight in the battle of Antietam as a time traveler.

It's extremely glitchy.

It's very buggy and the Civil War parts were rather uninteresting. It however also features several missions in the WW1 Battle of Tannenberg, in WW2 where you facilitate a breakout from a German work camp, and also in the city of Pompeii during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. It is definitely an odd game to say the least. ;)

Sad the Civil War parts weren't interesting but I think I might try it to see the other events

The civil war mission where you entered the cornfield was pretty intense though, the game really had much potential but wasted it completely.

I still remember when it first came out. I first heard about it in Slovene Joker magazine (gaming and such) where I was like: "Oh wow, how do you even play that game"
