This video shows the first time I shot a musket and go through safety, pathetically. Thought that I would upload this for you guys to laugh at my inexperience while we wait for the alpha of War of Rights:)

Apologies for it being recorded vertically.

Love firing my rifle.... And have never minded the taste of blackpowder either.

Especially for me, the different experiences between firing in light order and or in close order.

Back in the day when I was a younger buck and was into my reenacting, I had both a 3 band Enfield and a Springfield. Took them both to reenactments just incase someone needed a weapon.

When I wasn't reenacting ... I went deer hunting during black powder season in NY state ... I preferred my Enfield for that.

I could've have shot a musket in the Adirondacks but I couldn't because people wouldn't go with me

Lucky you, im still saving up to afford any rifle for reenactment but the first time I shot a musket, well an actual musket ball was at summer camp at the rifle range, and the first time shooting a blank was last year at the 150th anniversary of the shelling of Columbia

I thought blackpowder was illegal in NY?
