It took a while (makes me wonder what exactly you all uploaded :s) but finished in the end.

It won't allow me to upload it. it says the required dump and log files were not found at this location, even though that's where I have WoR downloaded.

Works fine here. Are you sure you've pointed it to the correct location?

Hi guys, I see that some of you are having trouble uploading some files!

The error you are seeing is due to one, or both, of these files missing from the root of the War of Rights installation:
error.dmp
game.log

As both of these files are required for us to help, we do not allow an upload without them being present.
If this error continues to happen when trying to upload the files, please verify that these files are present for the upload to work.
Also, please let us know if these files are present, but it's still refusing to upload the files!

Anthony

How to you regain these files?

How to you regain these files?

The engine creates them when you crash.

It won't work if you can't even launch the game. The error reporter is only for errors that occours while in-game.

Yea every time I try in launch the game it says Error- Failed to load the Game DLL! Cry Game SDK.dll,
and look at the file where CryGaneSDK.dll is there's only WarOfRights_Server, while before there was WarOfRights and WarOfRights_Server.

we did (there is really not much we can do wrong)...a lot of times, after some research i saw some suggesting to update the OS (mine is up to date), another game fixed the error for the users and another game could be fixed by renaming a file....but a real solution cant`t be found. So i am really frustrated and bugged right now

Had 3 crashes so far today...tried to send error log, but never opened for me. I checked and the error.dmp file is there and also a file named "game" not game.log

the game still is running better than it was, but i still crash after about 5 minutes trying to get to rifle range. Very laggy too, but probably my system is to primitive.

Any way to minimize things running in background on my system so the game runs better?

Hey guys did you get rid of the WorErrorReporter.exe in one of the updates? I cannot find it anywhere.

Cannot find it either. Verifying the game cache does not seem to pick up that it's missing.

Hello!

Today I'm pretty excited to announce the new and awesome Error Reporter. This new version is browser based and can be found at the following URL: https://warofrights.com/ErrorReporter

It can also be found by going to our FAQ and looking near the bottom: https://www.warofrights.com/FAQ. The next update for the game will also contain a link in the root of the War of Rights installation folder for the Error Reporter. We will most likely also be adding a button in the main menu which opens your browser and redirects you to the Error Reporter.

This new version makes it extremely easy for us to keep track of the reports you send in and their associated files. It also allows you to make a short description of what you were doing as the crash occured.

We'll be looking forward to going through your reports and making the game more stable.

Hey so I just tried this out for the first time, and I'm still a bit confused on it, so if I read right the files go to the devs, and then if they find a solution to the problem (Assuming there actually is one) they send it back to me? Or is it just updated to my PC, and if so how will I know when everything's done? Thanks!

Fancy Sweetroll

Sending the files simply helps us to to figure out what happened to your game and makes it way easier for us to solve the problem which we then may push push in a future update for the game.

I have just reported a crash of my game, though i could not find any .dmp file. Out of curiosity, this error:

<CRITICAL EXCEPTION>
Exception: 0xC0000005, at Address: 0x0033:0x00007FFCBCAB8507
Virtual memory usage: 3810Mb
Debug Status: 02:43 Game Antietam Skirmish
Last D3D debug message: No message queued. Debug runtime might be inactive or not installed.

Does it refer to my graphics card ?

I'm getting the same error/crash on Antietam. The game freezes during a skirmish for about 20 seconds, then it un-freezes but a few seconds later I get a black screen and crash.

I sent in a report earlier. I seem to have found a workaround to stop the crashing if someone else with this problem is reading this. Moving the game to the C drive, running the vc_redist and DirectX installers, and turning every in game graphical setting to low. Was able to play an entire match after that.

The URL (https://warofrights.com/ErrorReporter) appears to be redirecting back to the homepage, making the tool inaccessible.

Hello.

Thanks for letting us know. The website was set to redirect you back to the frontpage when the webserver was about to run out of space, but since the error reporter was added, we've gotten a lot more space on the webserver and the threshold for the Error Reporter has now been increased and it should be working again, keep those logs coming :)
