I wouldn't make it a habit of trying to answer questions directed at organizations you're not a part of.

Pertaining to Ghost Companies (https://www.warofrightsforum.com/showthread.php?2645-Ghost-Companies).
The OP has two weeks (26th March 2018) to directly respond to this post and confirm that the formation is still to be considered 'active'.

Deletion of the thread will occur after this period has expired.

Warmest regards.

Excellent.
I asked only because the last post had been in 2016, and that you are busier (it seems) with the 1st Texas Regiment and all of it's associated companies.

Cheers!

Hoods Texas Brigade has been formed.

A preliminary bridge meeting will take place on Wednesday January 9th at 8PM CST. Please have your unit representatives available for the meeting.

We will be solidifying the initial framework and charter of the association as well as event times/schedule, representation, and many other topics. Plan for at least 30 minutes but there is a good chance we will go over.

EDIT: Can I get a mod to change the title to Hoods Texas Brigade - 1st Texas, 4th Texas, 5th Texas, and 3rd Arkansas

Thought you boys might enjoy this:

When a British journalist remarked about the ragtag uniforms worn by Civil War soldiers of Hood's Texas Brigade, General Robert E. Lee replied:

"Never mind the raggedness. The enemy never sees the backs of my Texans."

Well howdy fellas. I just formed 5th Texas Company F aka The Bloody Fifth. Wondering if you guys are still pretty active. If so would like to hop in on Hood's Brigade and maybe expand this Brigade a little more!
