Yep, I did not start to work on any 1st Minnesota flag yet. So its just a placeholder.
Might be harder to add, cause there is no high quality reference of the flag.

1st Minnesota Volunteer Infantry Regiment - Regimental Flag
Anna Ramsey, wife of Governor Alexander Ramsey, on behalf of the St. Paul Ladies, presented this color to the regiment as they were assembled at the first state capitol building on May 25, 1861. On one side of the flag, encircled by 34-stars, was a painted state seal with the words, “First Regiment Minnesota Volunteers.” The reverse side had a painted Federal eagle with the words, “E Pluribus Unum.” The flag was made by Horstmann Brothers, a military goods supplier in Philadelphia.

In each engagement from Bull Run to the Peninsula Campaign (May-June 1862) to Antietam and Fredericksburg, the First Minnesota solidified its reputation as one of the finest regiments in the Army of the Potomac. Its charge at Gettysburg (July1863), one of most heralded of the Civil War, played a pivotal role in the Union victory, but came at a cost of more than 80 percent casualties.

When I have some time I can head to the Capital building and get some photos of the colors.

Thank you Günderson!

Just a quick example, what I mean with high quality :)

Our flags are mostly 4000 x 4000 pixels in size, while those references around the internet are low poly images, with 400x400 or so.
When I add such a reference into our flag file, you see the differences in size. Now, if I would resize the original flag, the quality would be very bad and the center state emblem and such would be very ugly and blurred. Which would mean, the entire flag has to be repainted in 1:1 ;)
And thats weeks of work for a single flag!

I found the Minnesota Historical Society website and they have hi-res photographs they've taken that you can pay for that are over 6000 x 6000 pixels but sadly these flags are pretty chewed up. I believe the first one I've posted here is the regimental battle flag that would have been used at Antetam. The second one I'm not sure about. I'm not sure if the team can recreate them given the hi-re images available but I think that center section can generally be found on a Google search.
