Weird Boxes Over Head

I was playing with one of my friends whom has a nice PC can play on max settings but he was getting this issue.

Interesting issue. Haven't seen it before but it looks like the name tag texture (the font) has somehow bugged out and the engine is displaying the usual red "replace me" texture instead.
