These are the most outstanding graphics I have seen in such an endeavor as WoR, I just wonder what kind of a computer is it going to take to be able to play this simulator.

Thank you very much, but this trailer is pretty old. The graphics have changed since then, as you can see on the newest screenshots :)
To get a better impression on the current look, you could have a look at this video:

That video is quite a bit outdated as well, Hinkel. :) Regarding pc requirements, well, we're pretty scaleable in terms of hardware. As long as your pc isn't ancient, you should be able to run the game.

If you can run Far Cry 3, I'd say you can run WoR.

that video was showing the main map that they are focusing on - Antietam & Sharpsburg. a proper historian or someone who knows their shit on the ACW can name each and every place that the video visited, i can name alot of it, but not all of it. of course providing that they removed the place-naming down the bottom left.

Hi d00d,

as far as i know there is "only" one map worked on, which is Sharpsburg/ Antietam and yes they are creating it based on historical battlefields as you can see on moddb http://www.moddb.com/games/war-of-rights/images. I have no idea what is planned for the future, but as you can see how large those maps are you can assume that it will take a lot of time creating more....personally i am looking forward to close quarter combat at Fredericksburg and storming little round top

We've just begun working on more maps. We'll support the entire Maryland campaign of 1862. :)

Ehm.. I don't know, if you are aware, that this trailer is pretty old and that the whole graphic changed since that? ;)
You should have a look at the newer field reports and teasers.
