Greetings! Allow me to start off by saying that I really love the game so far, I have gone on servers and talked to quite a few people and generally having a blast.
Sadly, about two days ago, whenever I attempted to join a server it simply kept displaying "Joining game".
So far I have tried:

Clean install of the game.
Winsock reset
Flushing dns.
Reinstalling windows entirely.
Praying to Zeus and his brethren.
Several restarts and Completely disabling my antivirus.
Verifying game cache repeatedly.

Don't know if this matters but every time I open up war of rights and close it after trying to join a server Steam finds that one file is not accounted for in the cache verification.
I apologize beforehand if this has been addressed before. It's an amazing game and i am missing all the events ;-;

Specs:
-Windows 10
-16Gb Ram
-Nvidia Gtx 980M GPU
- Intel i7-4720HQ 2.60GHz CPU

Thank you;

I have, many times, to no avail.
While opening WoR I do connect to the server since the cmd shows this and I get server info, however, whenever attempting to join a game the connection cuts out.
Using the commands in the thread you linked sometimes make the connection last longer but the end result is still the same.
I will however change up my modem and router to see if therein lies the problem.

Thanks;
Kaizer

Try praying to Jesus instead.

If that doesnt work, try this:

Also if you look in the installation folder. There is a file called system.cfg. Open it with notepad. There is a line with log_verbosity=0. Change it to 3 and save, then start the game, attempt to join a server. If it fails. Close the game. In the same place as the system.cfg. There is a game.log file. There may be multiple of them. So check the dates and make sure you have the newest one.

Does it say this? This doesnt really fix the problem, but it does confirm that its something with the networking hehe.

I'm surprised that reinstalling windows didnt work. Did you make a clean install? Like getting a new windows install with no programs on it other than what Microsoft provides (formatting your harddrive/ssd)? Or did you do some restore stuff to maintain most of the programs you have?

I haven't tried this myself. But there's also some other commands here that might fix it (The firewall one, BranchCache and IP reset): https://pandapow.co/how-to/win-reset-adapter/

Yes I have done a clean windows install, formatting both drives and starting with nothing but what windows gives you.
The game log file shows what you posted but only six or five lines, no matter how long I let it run.
Just like the other commands those you proposed simply extend the time of the connection a bit further.

Later today I'm going to attempt to use a different computer and a different network to see if it's a problem in my computer and network.

Many thanks;
Kaizer

Are all your ancillary programs up to date?

Direct X, Microsoft .NET, etc.

Turn on your auto update for the system ... and let it update.

Ok, so here's what is happening.
Finally I have been able to get into servers somewhat consistently. Every time I want to play I have to basically reset the winsock, validate the game cache, restart the router, restart the computer and disable my antivirus. Only after doing this just maybe I am able to join a server.
I aint even mad cause it's a good game.

Did you try a different router? You mentioned doing so earlier in the thread but failed to report if you did or not. You're having to jump through a lot of hoops to join in, that's all. :(

I did try both a different router and computer (in the same and a different network). Whilst using my laptop with a different router nothing changed. But using another computer in my network I had some success, with only a restart I could join a server half the time.
This is why I think that the problem lies with my laptop and most likely a hardware problem or a sowftware issue not related to WoR.

Update; I completely reinstalled windows again but am using older versions of the network adapter drivers. While sometimes I still do get the loop all I have to do now is close the game and try again. Normally that solves the issue first time.

Thanks to everyone for helping out;
Kaizer

Have you considered moving from Buenos Aires? :D (j/k)

I'm not sure of the quality of the internet there. It could be possible that connectivity via the various providers that your signal has to go through may be an issue.

What I'm saying is that it may not be something that your system is incapable of ... and it may be out of your hands.

Trust me I have considered moving out of here and am currently fighting for a spot in an exchange program (I'll even take Russia over this place).
Since I have been able to play massive multiplayer games such as Planetside 2 I figured my network was capable to have some sort of stable connection.

To be fair I think the highest download speed I have gotten is about 400kbs so you might as well be right.
