A key to see fps and ping?

Is it posible to see fps and ping values in game, or i must use an external program?
I´m trying to test diferent qualities

steam can show you your fps.

Yep, as Maximus said, you can use Steam to show your fps. Just shift + tab and go to your steam settings. Should be in the "in game" tab.
