The grants are awarded every three months and there are several indie games in development right now using CryEngine, so we'll see how many are in once we get close to the end.

"During the second round, Crytek will choose three funding package recipients. Six additional projects will receive technical support packages."

I do believe that the total fund is $1,000,000, but it will be split amongst lots of projects. However, since people can reapply every three months, I am guessing that that fund is for a long period of time and for multiple winners.

Edit: In their Q&A section, they say this. "The amount of each grant will depend on the scope and scale of the project and will be determined by Crytek."

Heck man if we even get 5-10k that would throw development into overdrive. Camp Fire games could get even more help for the game so it would come out faster and even more stable.

Yeah, any help would be great, we already have almost 100 likes on the project so far, though since there have been already 419 views on this thread, not much of the community is voting :/

We're very pleased with the amount of people that have voted thus far! We do, however, also understand that it is a bit of a hassle for some having to sign up for an account there though but that's how Crytek set the rules. :)

I agree with this suggestion. The forums software should track everyone's email.

Here are some quick numbers:

You have 100 pages with 30 names per page, of members. That's 3,000 members on the forums. (1/2 of a percent of those names look like variants of the same name, so maybe you boil it down to 2,800 members.)

Of those 100 pages, if you go and sort the results of the membership here by posting, you'll find that there are 14 pages of members who have 10 or more posts. Less than 20 percent of your membership actively participates on these forums. That's 86 pages of members, or 80 percent of your membership here that may have signed up once, and then may never have returned. They are not updating themselves with what's happening.

Emailing these folks is the first quick effort. The second effort is, go to steam and send out messages from steam to every member of your steam pages.

The Developers need to take a more active role in alerting their membership. Direct Email may be the best option.

The link to this website does not work on the War of Rights CRYENGINE page, Trusty. You have an extra "https://" in there...

And for those who can't be bothered to sign up with their email addresses, I heartily recommend using ThrowAwayMail (http://www.throwawaymail.com/). You can sign up, cast your vote and be done within a couple of minutes. Just think of all that extra $$$ going towards the development of this game. Every regiment here can easily sway and adjust the campaign.

Every person who has ever been on these forums and mentioned the want/need for mods to this endeavor, here's your chance. Apologies if this has been said before but why have you guys not put up a video on your Youtube page about this, it will surely get you more votes since some of your videos have upwards of 10,000 views.

I am assuming that most of the votes for Darkness Anomaly come from their Youtube video, which has more than 2,000 views, yet who's Youtube channel has below 200 subscribers, with your 6,000 plus subscribers, more votes would almost be guaranteed!

Oh dear, it looks like Darkness Anomaly pulled over 200 votes in a day somehow, I'm sure you guys have a video planned, the War of Rights community is much higher I believe, the problem is a lot of your fans don't even know there's a development fund going on, Once that video is made you'll be able to pull back to the top no problem, good luck :)

We have about 6000 followers on youtube. It is not that big of a deal in terms of numbers. DA got the votes because the creator managed to get a big German youtuber with 160.000 followers to post a video telling them to vote for it. Naturally, we're looking to do something similar. :)

Yeah that definitely pulled in a hefty amount of votes for them, no doubt you'll have some youtubers with much higher numbers to do the same for you, you have plenty of time to focus on other things as well, I'm still confident you'll come out on top, and if not second, in which you'll still get funding. :)

I am not trying to support Cannibal, fully committed to WOR, but why do you guys give them so much hate, I have already stated that they have a video with 17,000 views, and there are not too many early access Brazilian games that I can think of, it is just the community rallying around their game like ours.

Let's see: Diplexheated, Pixelated Apollo, Chadman, Lord John and Warrior of Sparta are but a few channels that I'm sure the team can reach out to to help gain support. That's a total of 592,813 subscribers that can be reached out to and many more casual views. Then there is the main War of Rights channel where the big videos pull around 17,000 views per.

War of Rights has held their main trump card for a hell of a long time, the YouTube call to arms. By god when it comes...there will be votes.

The thing is WoR can get more votes by the post of a video, they have plenty of time to focus on the actual development of the game along with more footage, Darkness Anomaly and Cannibal got their votes from youtubers with a decent following, I think Campfire are waiting for the right time, they don't want to kill the hype just yet, if you look at the votes for both Darkness Anomaly and Cannibal, after both reached first and second place, the votes have barely moved for the past 10 hours, the hype is gone, WoR defiantly have much bigger youtubers in mind ready to help spread the word on the Development Fund by the post of a video. I doubt we have anything to worry about, I bet they have it all planned out already. :)

Campfire Games: Call the banners.

Youtube: All of them, my lord?

Campfire Games: They've all sworn to defend War of Rights have they not?

Youtube: They have...

Its not about hate, but personally i am in heavy doubt that the votes these guys receive are 100% trustworthy...the comments in their (page/ channel ?!) look like a (lazy !!) copy & paste action

Are you still planning on having some youtubers make some videos supporting the fund? I'm sure you can get a few people who would be happy to, and it would pull in votes like crazy.

We're in talks with a few.

It's all about balancing it though. We'd rather have them make videos about WoR and the new update rather than a video about voting on the indie fund if they only want to create a single video about us if that makes sense.

Yeah that makes perfect sense, I noticed one guy who made a video for Darkness Anomaly talked about updates then showed some gameplay, and then mentioned the development fund at the end, and that brought them over 300 votes, if you got a few people to do the same you'd be golden.

Maybe, but they have as much right to join in as the rest of us - the rules state that any game up to and including early access is able to apply as long as it is a CRYENGINE project without any publishing deal. :)

I hope you guys can manage from here on out, if you can get support from someone you can grab second place no problem, Darkness Anomaly's votes are stable, Miscreated's are gonna keep on going up, no questions there, it's just a manner of whether or not you can find someone willing to help you out, good luck with the Development Fund! I hope the best, the funding will really make this game even better.

I think once the game gets more of the core features added and moves closer to completion it will be easier to wrangle in votes. Still, the fact that it's holding a large portion of the votes on a historical FPS game is pretty impressive.

Doesn't really matter if we're 2nd or last. The only position that is ganranteed funding is that of the 1st place. Crytek will choose the two other projects based on project quality.

The company video contest is still being decided upon as it face some technical issues.

Bad to hear. It seems to me that Miscreated is just another Game like DayZ, Rust or The Forest. I think the only reason why they are winning are the 260k sold copies.
But I think it's possible to get the 2nd rank with some advertising on famous Youtuber-Sites. We (or you... But I love the game so much that I prefer to say "we" :P ) just need 300 Votes more to get the 2nd rank. (And maybe edit the rewards, we managed the 400-votes goal weeks ago).

But it's your decision. It's still awsome that this game, which is still not public, got (or is going to get) the 3rd rank on the development found with a completely new game system. (I don't know any game wich is similar to WoR)
