Alleghany Artillery
Jackson's Division

Initially an Infantry unit made up of over 80 able bodies known as the "Alleghany Roughs", they formed an Artillery Battery on Jackson's orders and at first fielded four iron 6-pounders. They later on went by the name Carpenter's Battery due to their 1st Lieutenant Carpenter taking command after their first Commander, Captain McCallister fell ill. They went on to tactically acquire two napolean 12 pounders as well as two 3 inch ordnance rifles.

We have a Teamspeak set up in conjunction with the Jones' Brigade, so hop on and get to know us if you have an interest in Artillery. What peaked my personal interest in leading an Artillery Battery stems from my time in the U.S. Marine Corps Artillery as a Staff Sergeant. So I hope that artillery excites you as much as it does us! Please feel free to stop by the teamspeak, please just send me a PM if you are interested and I can shoot you the info. Alternatively you may fill out the form I've linked below!
