The requirements or performance haven't changed a whole lot with the upgrade. I believe you're experiencing the issue of having to let the engine compile the textures during the first load of the update. The time it takes can vary on your system but you should expect several minutes of horrible performance before it has finished as we've also mentioned here: http://www.warofrightsforum.com/showthread.php?1888-War-of-Rights-Update-Changes

Great work devs!
One question though; Does Cryengine 5 allow you to make maps as big as you want to make them?
And if so, do you still plan to shrink the larger maps down to a smaller scale, or are you now going to try to make the maps full scale?

my performance has gone down, although this might be do to some optimization issues. or i might need to update my drivers.

Most systems had been changed due to the engine uograde, the lod system included so performance is not the exact same on the various graphical presets compared to the previous build. We're also rendering more on insane for instance (longer draw distance of procedural vegetation).

I noticed when I was looking at the features of the new engine, that a screenshot of our beloved game was used by them.

Awesome. Amazing. Great. Whyzit taking so long? lol. This may just be the best game online once it gets started good.

It's taking long because they have a small team, with a large game, and a community that they keep extremely informed and notified. All of that takes hours and effort.

Something tells me that when a game moves from an engine version to another,it takes an amount of work of biblical proportions until everything is settled down again.
