Originally I posted 14 videos of fife and drum that I know as a musician that isn't very well known...

Then I noticed it only supports one video.

That's an hour of my life I can never get back.

RIP Dignity.

The story told in the song above is interesting. He talks about how his father I believe took part in the Irish rebellion of 1798, while he himself is fighting to put down a rebellion. He considers the south traitorous while his own father was a "traitor" to Great Britain. I don't know. Am I the only one that finds that just a tad funny XD

hmm yea, but think of it this way, the Irish are fighting against a nation(Britain) who wish to oppress a group of people(Irish). The same could be said about what we have done to African Americans, which is oppress through enslavement(although I understand thats not what the northern troops were individually fighting for).

I suppose, but if you just look at it from this point of view. "My father was a traitor. Now I'm shooting at traitors" It just seems a little silly. I know the reasons for war and such were very different but still, the general idea of it is kind of humorous.

Yeah he's not the best Bones player but I've met the banjo player and he's top rail. I thought it was a cool video but I did break into some whiskey earlier.

Mates,
thank you all for these fine little tunes!
Yet, I am missing my absolute favourite Civil War song. Lay ten dollars down, sung by The Cumberland Three.
I hope you like it:
