So which weapon are you looking forward too using in game the most? So far the images in the media section show the Sharps Rifle M1859, Springfield M1861, Pattern Enfield 1853, and Colt Army revolver.

Personally I'm looking forward to the Springfield M1861.

Whats the difference between the m1861 and te enfield

Well, the enfield is more accurate, has flip up rear sights, is slightly heavier so delivers less recoil, and had an effective range of at least 600 yards when fired by a properly trained soldier of the British army. All in my opinion and various facts I have gathered in my days of interneting. I also know that the enfield was one of the most sought after guns on both sides...

Wait why is the Lorenz rifle not in the poll?

The poll is based on weapon models seen in the images, under the media tab on the home page. That's why I put the "other" option in the poll as there are a ton of different small arms that were used by both sides during the war.

Please note me Hinkel when you are doing this, will be an amazing scene seeing you running at them until you hit the 40 yard mark :D

Colt Revolver all the way! In NaS I've managed to pull off some nice shots with that weapon and I can't wait too see what aiming down the sights of it will be like!

It seems like my possibility to be a bushwhacker in this game is poor since there are no reloading of revolvers (Ill miss u LeMat and Remington :C) So Ill have to set the Mississippi rifle for infantry, and Whitworth rifle for skirmishers as my top picks.

Will you add flintlocks? I know some Confederate regiments carried it all the way into 63. I am not sure how common they were in the Army of Northern Virginia, but they lastet pretty long in the Army of Tennessee.

If I remember correctly, the Henry Repeating Rifle would've been rare to see on the battlefield. There were only around 14,000 made.

Since WoR will initially support the Maryland Campaign (in 1862), both weapons will hardly being seen...i would love to say "not being seen" but i wouldnt dare to.
