We are happy to introduce you to the 39th N.Y. Garibaldi Guard.


ABOUT US


We are a group of friends that have decided to re-create a historical Company composed by Italians during the American Civil War. We want to offer an incredible experience that combine historical accuracies, like motions, drill manual techniques, and gaming. Our purposes are to have fun and at the same time reenact, in the entire possibilities of the game, the Company "A" of the 39th New York "Garibaldi Guard".
We are all Italian players, but there is no problem if you are from another countries because we speak and give orders in English.

Ciao e benvenuto nel rapporto sul campo del quarantunesimo!

Che settimana è stata! Abbiamo visto molte reclute fresche prendere parte a un lavoro di squadra di alta qualità sui campi di battaglia. Vorremmo ringraziare tutti voi per aver scelto di sostenere lo sviluppo di War of Rights e darvi il benvenuto nella nostra grande comunità!

Questo post è principalmente dedicato ad alcuni dei tanti problemi segnalati da tutti voi, nonché a cosa aspettarsi in termini di nuovi contenuti che andranno avanti in questa nuova fase alfa di War of Rights.
Avvia problemi

Come molti altri alpha lanciano su Early Access, ci siamo imbattuti in diversi problemi solo realmente esposti dall'aumento del numero di giocatori attivi durante questa prima settimana sulla piattaforma.

Abbiamo già applicato diversi hotfix (riducendo drasticamente il tempo di caricamento, aumentando la probabilità che il gioco si spenga correttamente all'uscita e un browser server molto più stabile) per rimediare ad alcuni di questi. Risolvere bug critici rimarrà la nostra massima priorità per il prossimo, quindi aspettatevi ulteriori correzioni nel prossimo futuro.

Il problema principale segnalato dai giocatori è stato bloccato nella schermata di caricamento quando si entra in un server molto popolato / pieno. I nostri prossimi hotfix conterranno possibili correzioni a ciò in quanto rimane il bug più critico per noi per la correzione corrente.

Abbiamo pensato fosse una buona idea ricreare / ripubblicare la nostra roadmap di accesso anticipato poiché molti giocatori che si sono uniti a noi di recente difficilmente sapranno cosa intendiamo offrire mentre il gioco avanza nel suo sviluppo.

La seguente tabella di marcia dovrebbe essere presa per quello che è - una lista preliminare di cose che abbiamo programmato. Dato che tutti i piani sono soggetti a modifiche, c'è una grande possibilità che anche la lista finisca per cambiare.

Anche l'ordine della roadmap è soggetto a modifiche mentre lo sviluppo procede. Alcune cose elencate potrebbero arrivare molto prima o poi di quanto indica il loro ordine di quotazione.


1. Correzioni di bug, miglioramenti della stabilità: questo sarà un focus costante durante lo sviluppo del gioco. Un alfa non è mai privo di bug. Nuovi contenuti raramente vengono forniti senza una buona parte di bug e problemi necessari per la correzione.

2. Miglioramenti delle prestazioni: siamo ben consapevoli che le prestazioni dell'alfa devono essere migliorate, specialmente in caso di account giocatore più elevati. I principali lavori di programmazione stanno attualmente lavorando alla rielaborazione della parte più costosa del gioco con alti conti di giocatori. Una volta terminato, tutti dovrebbero sperimentare framerate molto migliori su server popolati.

3. Strumenti di moderazione del server ampliati: questo consentirà agli amministratori di server un maggiore controllo sulla gestione e configurazione del server utilizzando comandi quali: calcio, divieto, cambio mappa, cambio area schermaglia, cambio meteo e ora del giorno.

4. Fine degli eventi di gioco: estratti appena prima del lancio su Early Access, gli eventi di fine gioco si ripresenteranno in una forma più dettagliata, specificamente progettata per creare momenti di fine gioco più memorabili nei casi in cui la domanda su chi erano i i vincitori della partita sono fortemente contestati.

5. Melee migliorato: Melee riceverà una revisione molto necessaria, inclusa la disponibilità di una mossa parry e sequenze di kill di animazione tra due giocatori ("kill-moves") per aumentare la fedeltà visiva dei combattimenti ravvicinati.



6. Nuovi campi di battaglia: The Battles of South Mountain e Shepherdstown completeranno la campagna del Maryland del 1862.

7. Sistema di ordine ufficiale di Flesh Out: saranno introdotti ulteriori comandi ufficiali per consentire una gamma più ampia di opzioni tattiche.

8. Musicisti: lavorando in tandem con il sistema degli ordini degli ufficiali, i musicisti dovranno inoltrare le chiamate corrette per assicurarsi che gli ordini siano ricevuti lungo la linea.



9. Modalità Battaglie Storiche: oltre alla modalità Schermaglia più veloce, la modalità di gioco più grande e principale per il gioco, nota come Battaglie Storiche, apriva l'intera gamma dei campi di battaglia 4x4 km per un maggior numero di giochi completi, con una linea frontale in movimento di diverse aree di cattura. Ciò comporterà anche l'uso della catena di comando completa in cui i giocatori prendono la parte di Generali, usando mappe e corrieri per dirigere le truppe attraverso l'enorme campo di battaglia.

10. Artiglieria controllata dal giocatore: le molte batterie già piazzate sui campi di battaglia diventeranno controllate dal giocatore una volta introdotto un sistema di artiglieria, in cui i giocatori avranno accesso ad alcune delle armi da guerra più distruttive e che cambiano la marea.



11. Generali: la catena di comando sul campo di battaglia sarà ampliata con l'aggiunta di generali. I generali portano una panoramica tattica sulla battaglia che manca a tutte le altre classi, aiutando a comandare le truppe quando si usa la modalità di battaglie storiche, contribuendo a portare un po 'di ordine nel caos della guerra.

12. Cavalleria: i cavalli devono essere implementati sia per le unità di cavalleria, per i pezzi di artiglieria in movimento, sia per l'alto comando e i loro corrieri. La cavalleria era ancora un ramo importante degli eserciti del periodo considerando i cambiamenti nella tecnologia, fungendo da unità di ricognizione e risposta rapida come intese per il loro uso sviluppate durante il periodo della guerra.



13. Release finale: Una volta terminate le funzionalità di cui sopra, saremo al punto che saremo pronti per il rilascio completo del gioco a tutti quanti! Questa versione finale sarebbe anche il punto che coloro che ci avevano sostenuto originariamente avrebbero ricevuto i loro beni fisici e digitali promessi. Mentre non possiamo dare una data precisa su quando potremmo arrivare a rilasciare, ci avviciniamo ogni giorno!


Questo è quasi per questo Field Report, ma vogliamo ancora ringraziare tutti per averci aiutato ad arrivare così lontano! The History of the 39Th

Chapter 1 "The creation"


It is April 12, 1861, a considerable amount of Confederate artillery batteries are assembled on the peaceful Charleston bay, all aimed for Fort Sumter. The subsequent bombardment will be considered an open declaration of war.
The next day the fort fell into the confederate but to the north, a few hundred kilometers away, the telegraphs begin to work. Lincoln and the secretary of war, Simon Cameron realize that the US regular army cannot compete with the large army of volunteers deployed by the Confederate States.
It is therefore decided to start a large recruitment campaign in the various states, and permission is given to each state to be able to create state regiments.
In the State of New York, numerous volunteers started to enlist and numerous regiments are set up, many of which are made up of immigrants from Europe, including the famous 52nd New York mainly composed by soldiers of German origins, or the 69th New York, composed by Irish.
In New York, Alessandro Repetti, a native from Genoa,son of a fisherman, he was a Mazzinian, a Garibaldian and a political exile, he was also anxious to contribute to the cause of the Union by forming an Italian legion of volunteers. June 18th, 1836: the creation of the Bersaglieri.
Alessandro La Marmora, commander of the "guards" regiment, proposed to Carlo Alberto the creation of an elite unit operating on the battlefield as light infantry.
The baptism of fire takes place in the first battle of Goito (8th April 1848) during the first War of Italian Independence. Later they will be engaged in the Crimean war.
It is to this unit that the 39th New York uniforms are inspired, in particular the hat (called "vaira") and uniform cut (jacket and pants) modeled on that of 1848.

This photography is very interesting becouse shows the soliers of the 39th NY having the Mississippi 1841 sword bayonet, this 'cause it made them look more like Italian Bersaglieri, who were inspired by their uniform.

Great fight`s tonight with the Garibaldi`s at the UEC Friday Skirmish Event. Together we took them bloody "West Woods" and repelled "Hills Counterattack". Awesome job! Like I wrote already via Steam, you held that point bravely and bled like true heroes. No matter how many buckets of confed lead the Southerners poured into your position, the 39ers just shook thinks off, raised and blew Hell back. That was outstanding today.
