The Community proudly presents: Another 150 Men Event!

This event shall be hosted on Friday the 23rd at 20:00 GMT and 20:00 EST.

This drill followed by a skirmish is hosted by members of the Community as a large organised gathering of unit with alpha to attend. After the failing of the in game chat (a bug this event helped find last time) a large gathering of units have chosen to gather together again to give it another go!

The event is on the 23rd Febuary 2018 and will be split between EU and NA times and servers.

The units to spawn in as are the 6th Wisconsin or 2nd Wisconsin.

Plan of Action

20:00 GMT or 20:00 EST, depending on time you have chosen to attend, begin to muster on the EU/NA USA Drill Camp.

Form into companies of 20 with 1 officer per company. A Colour Guard will also be picked out.

Short march in columns of two from the camp to more open ground.

Firing drills by Battalion and by Company.

Finish with a charge then to the skirmish server where we will play a round as two big formations and then go into individual units in lines.

Rules and Understandings

No trolling, racism, hate speech etc.

Be respectful towards other units. If any units start any kind of argument, fight, etc. with another they will be excluded from future gatherings.

Move out of spawn with units in formation.

Be prepared to fight for both sides.

Follow the orders of the commanding officers from the listed units. We wish to avoid clashes of command with non-affiliated units.

Rambos may be executed at any time by anyone. “Ramboing” is classified as moving more than 5m out of spawn without anyone else. (If a line as just moved out you may pursue it for up to 10m.)

Respect the event organisers

I'll make every effort to attend, and again, I strongly suggest that any companies within the Light Division Organization make every effort to be there as well. :)

Thank you for all those that are supporting this effort! Whilst I am helming this effort I hope that should this carry on in the future another can take the helm and then another and so on so that one such as myself does not hold "all the power" where I rightfully hold none.

I am the Captain of the 14th US Regs. I can be a substitute / reserve officer if needed. I say this because my company will not be attending, but if you have need of me, then I can remain on standby. I can also ask my First Lieutenant if he will attend.

I would go, get involved. But after seeing the spy cam can be used, i would rather wait until this gets to a private server. I am rather disappointed the devs haven't looked at other games that exploit in on coms.

Don't let the camera and stuff discourage you. Regardless of the camera, these events are loads of fun (even if your team does not win) because the experience they provide is unmatched.

The EU event was a smashing success! The drill was a touch officer heavy due to randoms and unaffiliated unit commanders refusing to swallow basic pride and a few randoms. The skirmish on Roulette Lane with units fighting as small lines was out standing! Special thanks to The German Volunteers, 95th New York and 1st Texas!

Looking forwards to the NA event time now!

Had an awesome time I hope we get to do this gain sometime the skirmishes were pretty awesome as well. Fighting in double ranks is what makes this game fun in my opinion.

Another smashing success of antime with the NA event. Drill was spotless with the Company Commanders being outstanding. Battle at Pry Ford worth multiple lines was outstands and a well won Rebel victory. A special thanks to the 1stTX, 51stNY, II Corps, 95thNY and 1stNJ for their attendance and outstanding performance in both sections.

Let us hope for more of these in the future!

As a member of the 52nd NY I want to say thanks for all the time and effort taken in these events! It was really fun to me and I could get an idea of how it would be like to engage in battlelines of Btln. size or even bigger and how important then the mastership of the COs and NCOs might be.

Thanks again in planning and conducting these events!
