"Dual Wielding pistols"...settle down Josey Wales
Oh what kind of fresh hell is this???????
being able to break the reload process I assume will be implemented..if not well just charge them while they're reloading..being able to start reloading were you left off would indeed be amazing....
I think thats a little much..I mean being able to do all 9 steps would be very interesting but it would get boring rather fast (personally I think reloading being a one click deal would suit everyone...
Scavenging ammo from fallen troops would be a nice touch though not completely necessary. How ever if this was implemented I think they should keep true to the proper calibers of weapons used. you...
While this seems like a very interesting idea it's kind of irrelevant. With the battles of the Maryland Campaign being just one day (besides from Harpers Ferry). I can picture I soldier taking a shot...
The Rebs will be all over Dunker Church scavaging for shoes
true but stranger things have happened and history has proven it ;) I assume the Sharps Rifle will have a faster reload time in game thus using more ammunition than a muzzleloading rifle. The average...
60rds? Yes thats adequate.... Will we be seeing supply trains though for a chance to replenish? Or just a straight 60rds? ( Not sure if this has been asked already or not...If it has been I Havn't...
I'm sure maybe 60 or so rounds in the tins(maybe less). As for extra they were probably carried in the knapsack or mule collar in arsenal packs like this... I don't think 100 full size cartridges...
A very interesting topic. I always like to think that the outcome of Gettysburg may have been the same but I feel the Union may have been pushed from they're defensive positions. Since Ewell didn't...
I can honestly see that happening..........

I have a flag obsession and I wanted to Chime in since I've been inactive for so very long ;)
Changing colors on an officers uniform is pretty unrealistic. Especially for the Union Army.... Maybe talking about piping on the uniforms? Colored piping was seen on non commissioned officers and...
I'm mixed personally on this topic. On one hand Soldiers could purchase items privately from sutlers who followed the army around. I think a Henry Rifle during the war was $50 and the average private...
I must say when I watched each clip my jaw was on the floor. you guys are doing one hell of a job here
Couldn't agree more about your argument on reloading time. In my experience as a reenactor fresh fish can barely get off 3 rounds a minute while more veteran reenactors can get off 3 shots in 50...

Well you could lay prone to avoid enemy cannon fire if you find you and your pards being shelled continuously because your being led by an incompetent leader. However I think this will bring forth...
Just an idea to throw out there. But have you guys considered some kind of tutorial for fresh troops? As to help new players grasp the basic controls and concepts of the game? Maybe throw some kind...
not a bad idea. I know when I was trying to find a Regiment about 5 years ago I had a hard time finding one locally...thank god for google ;)
While this is indeed and interesting and realistic idea I just cant help but think that more fire would be drawn towards the officers rather than the hundreds of guns aiming at you.
AH imagine of you will the chaos that would insure if the courier would happen to be picked off and no orders would be received. Honestly a deciding factor in an engagement.
Boy I walked right into that one. But that is if the devs give us destructable environments. I do think it would be cool to see Minnie Balls trimming down saplings and shrubbery.
I imagine you will be able to take cover behind any natural object in the game like downed trees, rocks, in ditches, or even behind a fence. Just not behind anything player made
