Brilliant suggestion I've seen yet! In fact..
GOD SAVE THE KING
Me and you think a lot alike then hopefully the Devs do something along these lines I'd love to see a Battle of Mobile Bay.
Thank you! And God Bless you and your state of North Carolina!
I will happily see you on the field.
That's absurd I am not paying 70 again and such after a death at the end of the day it's a video game and not reality. But I'm not spawning in Montgomery, to march from there to Richmond and then on...
Like a Campaign Map, to track the Battles In Order? Additionally, alternative scenarios where Generals can change the historically done actions and alternatively defeat the enemy. I say that so...
FORT ASSAULTS/DEFENSE
Come on lads, ya know you'd love to see a Fort Fisher or Fort Pillow in the mix.
I say a slight improvement to the capture system to where it takes a platoon size at the least bare minimum, to capture a spot effectively.
The Craziest thing eh?
Fort Assaults/Defense.
WHY? Because you'd have to survive the horrors of such fort conflicts such as Fort Fisher, Fort Wagner, Fort Donelson, Fort Vicksburg, Fort Macon...
If you ask me, if retreating is to be relevant than the capture system has to be changed. From my personal experience, one man alone can capture the whole of Miller's Cornfield or the Sunken Road. I...
No disrespect intended of course. However, I am merely pointing out if you're in a regiment you wouldn't retreat or fall back unless given an order to do so or if overwhelmed.
Thank you kindly sir, hopefully you'll be able to make full use of the 14th Alabama Regiment in it's full size of Three Companies by the end of the summer. We plan to make it so.
The idea we've had is reserve the A-C Companies early and build up overtime. Building one company at a time while the rest are reserved. Basically, muster slowly to where we're active and effective.
I chose friends to form the B-C Companies, while I myself reserve A. But I can cancel out B-C and make them do their own forum's later.
HISTORY OF THE 14TH ALABAMA VOLUNTEER INFANTRY
The 14th Alabama Infantry Regiment was organized at Auburn on the 1st of August in the year of our lord, 1861. With men from Montgomery and Auburn and...
Personally good sir, I meant logically speaking if you were outnumbered of course you'd give ground to regroup and such. But if you were able to withstand of course you'd naturally hold the ground.
Why debuffs? Personally, I think it is fine as is. Unless there is AI involved then I can see morale being more of a significant factor. Because since we're all players, our morale is basically...
Thank you, I've a lot to catch up on then. But I have one last additional question to raise. Will there be a potential feature of the Washington D.C. Defenses of something of the sort? The...
Since this evolves around the 1862 Maryland Campaign, I do think it'd be interesting to see the inclusion of South Mountain and potentially the Shenandoah Valley. Specifically for South Mountain,...
