Great series so far, very nice to finally see some action on the battlefield.
Eh, is the point of this to make us want to immigrate to Germany?
Whyyyy
An courier system would be interesting, especially if the courier were to fail to make it to his destination. ;)
Perhaps a system like in the game Scourge of War? Having a selection of orders...
Maybe put all telegrams into two categories: regular and important/roleplay. Regular can be for chat and informal inter-company communication, important for more immersive roleplay and the like....
So I can't slip the number 21 into my shoe and tell your recruiter "I'm going on twenty-one?" ;)
Anyways, good luck!
Before anyone comes in here to start yelling at you or make terse statements about the AI not being in game, I'll just tell ya that no, there won't be any AI, not even musicians. The devs have been...
So will hardtack be a feature in WoR? The ability to rustle through your pockets for a mid battle snack, worms and all? :D
That argument was six days ago. Please don't bring it up; just makes the thread more cluttered and people more angry.
I like the implementation of platoons in the company, would be interesting if for the artillery instead it could be divided by gun crews. Maybe the same for cavalry, but not sure if they had...
Another logging out thing, if I have multiple tabs open and look at another one, as soon as I get back into the WoR tab it logs out. Not sure if that's supposed to happen. :p
Don't really like how everyone thinks it's always some matter of pride. Sure, sometimes it can be, but maybe some people prefer smaller, closely knit units to the sprawling 100+ man groups. Just a...
Thank you for clarifying. I do understand that units that weren't present will not be able to be played. It was just confusing getting yes and no answers at the same time, that I could form the 26th...
Oh, so for us regiments that weren't at Antietam, are we still able to form? Or will we have to be forced to make new companies in regiments that were present?
Thought you were making the 27th NC; change your mind? All the same, congrats and good luck!

Always knew something was fowl about this....
Actually, I think you need to post the link from the 'Companies' part of the forum, so the link you should be using is this: http://www.warofrightsforum.com/showthread.php?2847-27th-NC-Company-D
Yes, originally we were going to form companies A, C, D, and G. This was before we understood how the whole company thing worked. Now, as you can see, we are simply companies A and G. So yes, go...
Hello to the next digit up of North Carolinians.
Good luck to you from the 26thNC! :p
Unfortunately no, our group is not in any way connected to the reenactors of the real 26th North Carolina. Currently using their recruitment video as a placeholder until we are able to film our own,...
Hey, that could always be another stretch goal for the kickstarter. If we can get it up to $240,000 Mr. Crecy has to record songs of his singing, and at $250,000 the songs get banjo accompaniment. :p
In addition to this question, for the infantry, is there a set amount of rounds the average soldier carries into battle?
It would tarnish the immersion a bit, I think, if there were to be an auto-walk feature. This is where the idea of drilling with your company comes into play; those who drill are going to have good...
Also, hopefully a certain name can only be used once?
It would be pretty creepy to see a whole company of Ben Hinkels, if you know what I mean :D
Looks like it might have made a good movie; too bad the kickstarter ended in May though.
Lovely! I really enjoyed all the Verdun letter readings; glad to see that you're making more!
