Agreed it would be nice to have some customization, but not to much to take away the original uniforms feel. I like the civil war uniforms anyway due to the fact that there so basic. However as I said bofore it would be nice to have some customization to make our uniforms match our company for instance by changing the letters and numbers on uniforms, adding bucktails on kepis, secondary color changes (for instance dragoons were given orange shoulder straps instead of yellow), and a few other small things.Well yeah but im not expecting to have so much customization, like im just wondering if we can change our hats or something. I don't want full customization like having a full gold uniforms in a battle. I would be fine if you could change your unit like being a Zuoave or a regular infantry unit. I wouldn't like it if we had that much. I don't want to see a full camo unit breaking every law of time at once.
That and of course thiers going to be uniforms from different battles, I thought the devs said they'll be adding more campaigns once the Maryland campaign is finished.

While in many cases what you wrote is true, this statement is still far from the whole truth. The Union in particular had tons of uniform variations for the different Corps and Brigade organizations. The differences in uniform may not have been as exaggerated as in the Napoleonic era, but differences did exist. Particularly in the Eastern theater, a lot of troops had special uniforms to instill unit pride. The following picture is just a small example of that.
I understand that it would be impossible for the Devs to make every uniform used in the course of the war available, but differing uniform options will certainly make the game more enjoyable in the long run. I myself am very happy to see that the Iron Brigade uniform will be usable in the game, it's one of my favorites.

I don't want stupid looking Napoleonic uniforms. I just want to be able to shange small things. Secondary color, badges, pins ect... even then it's mostly for accuracy. If I was running around in a 1st Alabama Company B uniform as the 11th Alabama Company D and all the badges said I was 1st Alabama company B that would break immersion all the time.
