I'd like to welcome the new additions to the company. Let's hope we can keep growing as we are and help take the csa to victory. :-)

Good to have you with us Bluetone and see you on the field soon!
The company was accepted in state service at Sunflower County, Mississippi, on 18 May, 1861, and was accepted in Confederate service, under the command of Captain B G Humphreys, on 2 July, 1861. The company was ordered to Richmond, Virginia, on 31 July, 1861, and was mustered in Confederate service by Major H L Clay, assistant adjutant general, Confederate States Army, at Lynchburg, Virginia, on 9 August, 1861. The company arrived by the Orange & Alexandria Railroad at Camp Pickens, near Manassas Junction via Charlottesville, Albemarle County, and Gordonsville, Orange County, Virginia, on 10 August, 1861, and Captain B G Humphreys was appointed colonel, 21st Mississippi Infantry, on 11 September, 1861. First Lieutenant T S Gibson was appointed captain in September 1861.
