No I didn't mean now. I was just wondering what times you were considering. I work second shift on a rotating schedule so my attendance will be sporadic.

I was looking in an old book I had laying around. Uniforms of the civil war (in color) by Philip haythornthwaite. In the book it actually shows drawings of the 1st battalion LA Zouaves. Looks similar to the traditional Zouave look. Solid red pants blue she'll jacket etc. different from wheats tigers look and the image on the first page. Is that what u were referring to when saying coppens Zouave uniforms? Might be best sticking with the wheats tigers look...look almost Union like in the original Zouave uniform.. Friendly fire. Wish I wasn't so lazy. I would figure out how to upload the photo.

Found the exact pictures online. Go figure. Buying books is over.
Yes I was refering to Coppen's Zouaves, Coppens had the yellow trim on the jacket instead of the red of most northern zouave uniforms.
Also those pictures you posted aren't exactly correct, Coppens had yellow trim not red, and the Tiger Rifles didn't have red on their pants, people also debate on whether the jackets were dyed to brown
I have a photo of Coppens on the first page, he is the one sitting, his brother is standing next to him.
Also, the reason I have both uniforms posted is because the Tiger Rifles and Coppens were in the same battalion during the Maryland campaign
