Overton Hood Gun For Hire
"Captain, my religious belief teaches me to feel as safe in battle as in bed. God has fixed the time for my death. I do not concern myself about that, but to be always ready, no matter when it may overtake me. Captain, that is the way all men should live, and then all would be equally brave".- Thomas Jonathan Jackson
Just American, but my ancestry is purely colonial. Lots of Brits, Frenchmen, Germans, Swedes, Dutch, Jews, and Indians. Some really crazy stuff if you get back into the New Netherland Colony and refugees that fled from their homes in the 1600's.
French and first nations on my fathers side (Metis) and Irish, German/Austrian, and a mix of now debunked European nations.
British, Quarter Irish, Quarter Welsh and half English

I am Swiss French Spanish. My Fifth great grandfather Jean Jaque Maillard was a Swiss mercenary in Karrer's Regiment in colonial Louisiana. On my mother's side my maternal ancestor was Miguel Romero from Castuera, Spain. Both of these ancestors came to Louisiana in the 1700's. Other than that, most of my DNA is French.
