Im not begging you to do this but do y'all think that later (and i mean later) in development for the Springfield 1842s some SC troops that have them would get Palmetto Armory Locks and markings, might be to much to ask but I just think it would be cool. Probably is to much to ask

Of course. All weapon balistics are going to be based on as accurate information as we can find.

I actually heard that a smooth-bore musket firing buck and ball gets more hits statistically at under 150 feet than a rifled musket so I imagine it should make up for its inferior range and accuracy. More importantly though, it's good to hear that the guns will have historical specs and not just end up being re-skins with the same shooting capability.

That's good to hear. I've always been worried that the rifles ability would be limited in-game. I know most rifles were only effective up to 500 yds but some rifles were effective at even greater distances (enfield, whitworth, mississippi etc etc), I hope to see these rifles represented accurately as well.

Of course player accuracy is always going to be dependent on player skill and the rifles ability.

The 1st Louisiana Zouaves should have more rifles than just the Mississippi, I'm not exactly sure about all of the rifles that they used but I know they had a few. I have photos of the 1st Louisiana that shows one of the rifles that they used but I'm not sure what rifle it is but I know it's not the Mississippi.

As you can see, those are three banded rifles but I'm not exactly sure what make and model.

I'm pretty sure they did, I know other Louisiana Regiments had them. I'm just wondering what that rifle in the picture is.

I also think the Mississippi should have a ladder or flip sight added, the version of the Mississippi that is in game usually had a flip/ladder sight of some kind.
