I find it hilarious these guys are asking for more devs like it can be done at the snap of a finger. You know if this was a 2 million dollar budget game that would be possible. Is game development a little slow yes. One can not blame the devs though its a pretty small team. The quality of this teams work shows though!
USA General of the Army
I feel that the dev team currently in force is doing the best job any development team has ever done, (even those with more money and manpower.)
Keep up the good work guys and don't be swayed by the impatience of your player base. Take your time, make sure it is correct in the best possible fashion and deliver a product that will be proud to be held up as an accomplishment.
Don't rush it, hire inept people and then produce a clusterfuck. Keep giving us what you're giving us and at the pace that you're releasing it. I'm perfectly happy with it.
I'd like to say, about this argument, (don't mean to squeeze in by any means) that honestly I don't think that it's the Dev's responsibility to tell you exactly where the money from the crowd funding goes, at the end of the day, we're seeing progress, for example, a new video (yes they're pre recorded, but they still shot these in a short time span) each week, not to mention the little tool we were just given, as well as the many sneak peeks given to us by the dev's.
At the end of the day, we shouldn't be bombarding them with "What is the money going to..." "You live in a Communist country..." after all, the time that Trusty used replying to these, he could have been doing something productive, or resting after a hard day's work.
Let's try and be nice to the dev's for once.

First let me say one thing. My post was not a dig at the dev's or the amazing progress you have done so far. No where in my post did I make any sort of negative comments about the great work you are doing. Lets be mature enough to have a civilized conversation.
Now, with that being said. Am I criticizing your tax rate? Yes, I am. Do I think it's ridiculous that potentially $70,000 dolls of backers money goes to your social welfare state as a result of wages? Yes, I do.
Its clear you are a fan of social welfare... that's fine, but I am not. We disagree. However, I do believe development could be more efficient if it persisted in somewhere else where wages and individual tax would be more conducive to a small development team.
Now, I noticed that in another post you stated that my contrary opinion has "no place here." Well sir, that is by the definition bigotry. The dictionary definition by which is "intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself." Now, I am not calling you a bigot, but rather expressing my concern of tendencies that often take place in socialist societies. This idea that its offensive when people don't agree with you is ridiculous. You are right though, I am from America and the great game you are developing is about the American Civil war, which was among many reasons fought for the right of people to have freedom. Including the freedom to disagree with your fellow man/woman.
Danish people should just laugh at USians complaining about taxes and tax increases
I think it's just a product of the red scare in the 20s and 30s and the cold war that peopel in the US are unnecessarily against social welfare and call everything socialist and communist
sorry for off topic
You Sir are an idiot. On a private internetform the owner can make any limit to what they consider "acceptable topics" they want.
On forums about the acw it is perfectly normal to ban debates about politics and religion because Americans can't manage to debate that online without getting into fights.
And clearly he don't think a political debate about how a society should be set up is relevant to have in a topic about the development of the game.
That said, you are correct, had the game been made in a lowwage country like the USA and the devs paid the federal minimum wage 7,25$/hour then yes, more devs could have been hired... and the federal government could be paying to the game also... true food stamps for the devs...

You sir, are an idiot. I did not bring up the social welfare aspect, security or anything of that nature. However, I did respond accordingly and you would know know that if you read. I simply stated the taxes, but was responded with security and social welfare argument. Your preconceived fanboy notions are clear. Furthermore, the U.S is hardly a "low wage" country. Each state has the inherent right to set their own minimum wage, which again is part of the states rights portion of the what the civil war was about. California is 10.00 hr, District of C is 11.50, coupled with their own constitution, laws etc...
You are right, it is perfectly acceptable to ban speech that you don't agree with on private internet forums. However, as a consumer it is perfectly acceptable to criticize, and if game developers are not open to a little criticism, then well.... not sure how successful you will be. This is that maturity aspect that I was talking about, something you clearly lack.
Both of you are idiots and I'm locking this thread
