99.9% of the folks that will watch it will enjoy it if they like history. Not everyone cares that absolutely every single thing in the program is microscopically meticulously correct. Even if 'farby' was explained to them they would not care and there is nothing wrong with that. A good movie can be historically correct, entertaining, and educational without worrying about belt buckles and shoe laces. I'm just glad someone took the time to pursue this project and am hoping that some of the folks that watch it will eventually find their way into our community here. I don't think I've ever heard anyone ever saying that John Wayne was farby as hell when he played a Marine, even thought he was
As a former Marine I can tell you that Hollywood seldom 'gets' the Marines right. In fact the best Marine portrayal in a movie I've ever seen was a science fiction movie. This Civil War series will be just fine as long as they stay away from inaccurate stereotypes and just let the history speak for itself.
