Exclamation 15th South Carolina, Co. C "Lexington Guards"

TO ARMS! TO ARMS! Defend this the home of our mothers, wives, and sisters! This is the motto of Co. C, 15th South Carolina Infantry, the “Lexington Guards.” Co. C, 15th South Carolina Infantry needs able-bodied men. South Carolina should not call in vain! Company C strives towards key principles of maturity, realism, cohesion, and most of all, fun. This company is organized and formed by Capt. Craps not only to enjoy the atmosphere of the era, but in homage to the ancestors who fought in this war. The goal is to be cohesive, professional, courteous, and enjoy each others company while portraying an era of significance to the American fabric of history. All that is asked for of the members of the company is to be mature, respect the military organization, respect the other members, and to train and fight hard as a real unit of friends and patriots.

    Brief History to Antietam

Following the Regiment's service on the coast of South Carolina, they were transferred to Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia (ANV) in July 1862. There, they served in General James Longstreet's first corps in all of the ANV's battles from 2nd Manassas forward, including Sharpsburg and South Mountain.
