    32nd Virginia Battle Flag

The 32nd Virginia Infantry Regiment had a flag like this according to my research at the battle of Sharpsburg or Antietam.

For the sake of historical accuracy I would like to see this flag being flown by the 32nd in the game.

Can I have some Dev input on this?

I believe those are what's known in sewing terms as hem lines.

    Yes that's right.

It's to show how the flag was stitched.

I would very much like to see the devs use this flag in the game on account that the 32nd had this flag during the battle.

As with the uniforms, equipment, and weapons, we definitely want to make sure that the flags being carried by each regiment are properly represented. While that certainly won't be easy, considering how many have been lost or are beyond recognition, it means that threads like this will be very valuable to adding to our total database of flags. We appreciate the pictures JohnnyReb and yoyo, and you can be sure they will be represented correctly.

Now that's what I like to hear from the game devs!

    THAT is dedication!

    Thanks so much!

I'll look for more unique flags and post a Maryland Campaign flag thread.

I can see this game being probably the best civil war game of all time!
