Battle of River's Bridge (SC) Feb 1865. Some 1200 Confederates held off approximately 5,000 Yankees for 2 days as they tried to cross a rain swollen and semi-frozen Salkehatchie River.

Perhaps, like in the older SoW Gettysburg, a set of "generic" maps would be useful rather than a specific battle map. "Nuff said! LOL

"Boys, if we have to stand in a straight line as stationary targets for the Yankees to shoot at, this old Texas Brigade is going to run like hell!" J. B. Poley, 4th Texas Infantry, Hood's Texas Brigade
Kennesaw mountain would be very cool to see!
Looking forward to see how the fires that consumed many at Wilderness will be interpreted in game. I’ve got to do more research as to how the fires specifically started...

I say Gettysburg but not just because it is the most well known. Although that helps when you want to market the game.
Gettysburg battlefield offers one of the wide's ranges of combat situations of any in the Civil War. There were fights in woods, hills, across streams, railroads, towns, etc. There were attacks ranging from skirmishes to mass assaults. There were artillery, infantry and cavalry fights. Just about everything except a river crossing. There were green troops and veterans.
It is one battle that has about everything in it.
